The Director of Operations, Patrick N. Gakure, is a career civil servant who worked in various ministries and departments of the Government of Kenya (GoK) for thirty six (36) years since graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Government in 1981 up to his retirement in 2018. During his employment, he also attended various professional and promotional courses which, in addition to experience gained over time, enabled him to rise through the ranks from an Assistant Secretary at the time of his first appointment to a Senior Deputy Secretary at the time of his retirement.
