Welcome to CAfRIC Centre, a male and female 30-bed facility. We treat all mental health related illnesses, provide psychotherapy and counselling for psychological trauma and loss related grief, and rehabilitate substance use disorders.
This is a SAFE space and everyone is welcome!
If you are struggling with a mental illness, a substance use problem, a traumatic experience, or are experiencing day-to-day stress that affects your ability to cope and function, or you just want support, to relax, reset and re-establish your equilibrium; our state-of-the-art facility is designed to offer clients a professional, safe, clean, and welcoming environment that provides a comfortable and a relaxing environment to learn and heal.
CAfRIC Centre Kenya is registered and licensed by the Kenya Medical Practitioners & Dentists Board (KMPDC) and the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
We are also accredited by the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) as well as the National Campaign Against Drug Abuse (NACADA)

OUR APPROACH
All our programs have a Trauma-Informed, Evidence-based and Whole-Person approach, taking into consideration the individual, family, organization and society level factors that impede human flourishing.
Our Treatment Mantra
We believe that to Treat, we need Trust from our clients. For us to gain Trust, clients and their families MUST feel heard, and for them to feel Heard, we must be open and transparent to establish Rapport with every client.
Our treatment mantra allows us to connect with our clients and to work with each client and their families as an equal and collaborative partner in their care.
Our In-patient program provides support to families of our clients and ensures that the progress achieved during treatment continues after discharge. We offer free unlimited follow up and transition support for all clients; and a free 8 week online coaching program to the client’s immediate family.

Our team follows best-practice and is guided by an array of evidence-based therapy models of counseling widely used in the treatment of mental health illnesses and substance use. disorders
Our multidisciplinary team consists of Consulting Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Clinical Officers, Psychiatric Nurses, Clinical Psychologists, a Clinical Educator/supervisor, a Nutritionist, a Financial Literacy instructor, a Physical Fitness Trainer, and other support staff.
Parents, educators, corporates leaders, and any stakeholder in a position of authority or influence to nurture and promote human flourishing in the public, private or NGO sector is a key partner and player in our work.
