At CAfRIC Centre, we believe in the idea that “when you know better, you do better.” We are dedicated to empowering our communities and providing mental health treatment in Thika. By educating ourselves and others, we can create a better future for everyone involved. we do this through a number of channels and audiences.

• Medical Professional Training: We provide education to build capacity on evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to mental health and substance use treatment among health care professionals. This education can be offered virtually, or in person, as needed. Please contact our office for inquiries.We also offer hands-on clinical opportunities on-site to clinicians, nurses, counseling psychology or addiction counseling students. • Public and Corporate Education and Training: We champion mental health and substance use prevention and treatment in our communities by raising awareness. We provide educational workshops and seminars to corporate organizations, schools, religious organizations, or privately organized groups as needed. Please contact our office for inquiries.
